Ali Summary
Niki wakes up and checks around the house to find the police car still outside. D.L. appears behind her and begins to talk to her. She reminds D.L. that all she needs to do is scream and the police will be right in. D.L. tells Niki that he planned to steal the money from Linderman, but backed out of the plan until someone else stole the money and framed it on D.L. D.L. says that he knows it is a woman and that he is going to meet up with some witnesses to find out who it was. Niki and D.L. reconcile and as D.L. is sleeping on the sofa, Niki enters to tell him to come to bed. D.L. and Niki wake up where they talk about their relationship and D.L. tells Niki she should get some sleep as he heard her getting up in the night. Niki can't remember and sees herself holding D.L. in a reflection, when she is not.
Micah greets his Dad and D.L. tells Niki that he wants her to come meet with the witnesses so she can truly believe that he did not steal the money. Niki and D.L. reach the building where some of the witnesses will be, but find that all the men have been slaughtered. At home, Niki tells D.L. that she has seen murders like that before and believes it was her that murdered them. D.L. convinces her that it is the same person who tried to set him up. Micah asks Niki for his backpack and she finds it, but sees her reflection again. Next thing she knows, Micah is already with his backpack and tells Niki that she just gave it him a minute ago. Niki goes into her bedroom, confused about what is happening to her. Suddenly, her alternate personality begins to speak to her and confesses that she stole the money and killed all of D.L.'s crew.
She tells Niki to get the money and take Micah as far from D.L. as possible. She tells Niki that she can't tell D.L. because he'll put everything together and then it'll only be a question of whether he kills Niki before he leaves with Micah. Her alternate personality begins to give Niki and ultimatum and that she can either let D.L. take their son away forever, or she can do exactly what her alternate personality tells her to do. Niki asks where the money is. Niki climbs in the roof and grabs the money, unaware that D.L. has watched and again, Niki's alternate personality takes over. After a fight, Niki gets on top of D.L. where we see the symbol on her back again. Micah walks in and with Niki distracted, D.L. phases his hand through her stomach and begins to choke her. Niki loses consciousness and falls to the floor. Micah runs over to her, but D.L. grabs him and takes him away.
