Derek Charles (Idris Elba), a successful asset manager who has just received a huge promotion, is blissfully happy in his career and in his marriage to the beautiful Beth (Beyoncé Knowles). But when Lisa, a temp worker, starts stalking Derek, all the things he's worked so hard for are placed in jeopardy.
• "We (Ali and Beyoncé) have a wicked cat-fight. I don't know how i'm not going to start cracking up when i see Beyoncé coming at me."
• "It was so much delicious fun. We’ve really taken on the classic thriller. I feel so lucky to have been able to play this character because I loved Rita Hayworth in “Gilda” and Faye Dunaway in “Chinatown” and Glenn Close in “Fatal Attraction.” This film is “Fatal Attraction” mixed with “Hand That Rocks the Cradle.” It’s one of those pulse racers from the minute it gets going until the end."
• "The woman I play is delusional for sure. She believes her behavior is rational, although it may appear irrational. She hears one thing from this man, which is simple friendliness. He thinks he is just being nice to this girl, but it’s misinterpreted. She starts an imaginary romance. The tricky thing is this level of technology we have now. If you e-mail someone or chat with them on iChat, where is the line drawn? When is it cheating? When is it flirting or just being friendly? When it is appropriate or not? There’s a fine line. And you can’t let the guy off the hook either. For me in real life, a relationship all comes down to trust. You never know if a temp comes in and her backstory. Let’s just say I got my eyes wide open after reading this script."
• "I’ve always wanted to get to play a real classic femme fatale. The film is a kiss to the sexy thriller drama like “Single White Female” (1992) and “Fatal Attraction” (1987). I knew that I was getting the chance to play a female villain, which I just love. The other actors on the film were great also; Beyoncé is such an incredible talent."
Memorable Quotes
• Lisa Sheridan: "You said you wish we could be together."
• Lisa Sheridan: "I almost went insane today; having to pretend like I was concentrating on my work when all I could think about.."
Derek Charles: "Lisa! There's nothing going on between us."
• Beth Charles: "Did you not get my message?"
Lisa Sheridan: "I'm so sorry. We didn't want you to find out this way."
• Lisa Sheridan: (over phone, pretending to talk to Sharon) "Sharon? Hey, it's Kate. Where am I? I'm at your house, of course. You told me to drop by. No, Samantha just wanted me to give you a call, she was a little bit concerned. No, no, no, don't be upset with her. No, God, c'mon, she was just doing her job. Great. Alright, have an amazing dinner. Tell Derek I said hi. Oh, Sharon, hold on. Do you need to talk to her?"

Critic Reviews
"The movie belongs to Ali Larter, who's long overdue for some kind of bigscreen breakout." - Variety
"Former fashion model Larter, channelling 'Jessica' from 'Heroes', is as good as she can be playing an utterly one-dimensional psycho" - Channel 4
"It could be the least erotic thriller ever made, unless die-you-bitch catfights through broken attic floorboards constitute some sort of kinky subgenre." - Daily Telegraph
"Obsessed, is short on dimension and subtlety, but it turns into a mess believable enough to keep us invested." - Los Angeles Times
