American, Jersey Girl Ali Larter has been in the entertainment business for over 10 years now and after being discovered on a faux magazine cover for Esquire Magazine, Ms. Larter has not stopped since. You probably notice Ali from the hit films Final Destination, Legally Blonde, Varsity Blues and most recently Resident Evil: Extinction. Also, Ali is currently a series regular on the award-winning tv show, Heroes on NBC. Ali starred in the box office smash Obsessed in 2009 where she co-starred alongside Beyonce. In 2010, Ali is going to starring in sequel Resident Evil: Afterlife alongside Milla Jovovich and Wentworth Miller.

“Heroes” Update!
Written By Rachel on Jan 8, 2008 | Filed Under: 'Heroes', Articles, News & Media

This is for all you Heroes fans out there who love Ali’s character Niki. Read on for a little snippet of a spoiler posted online about what’s happening with her when the show comes back.

Any scoop on Heroes? Is Niki coming back?
If you threatened to electrocute me with your lightning powers, I’d say…no. But I’d also tell you that doesn’t mean we’ve seen the last of Ali Larter. I’m hearing that the plan as of the last time the writers met up (pre-strike) was for Niki to be dead—but for an alter ego to take over. Not Jessica, not the whipped-cream chick from Varsity Blues, and that leaves…come on, you can guess it! It’s someone we’ve seen before. Of course, all that is subject to change due to the current holding pattern.

Resident Evil: Exctinction out on DVD!
Written By Rachel on Jan 3, 2008 | Filed Under: 'Resident Evil: Extinction', News & Media

Ali’s latest film, Resident Evil: Extinction was released on DVD on the 1st January and be sure to get it! It is also being released on High Definition Blu-ray. For full details, read below. Hopefully, we’ll have Clips and Captures soon! Ali plays Claire Redfield, one of the few survivors making their way to Alaska, due to Alice’s theory that there is uninfected people still living. They must fight to survive against killer zombies, crows and much more.

The third installment of this videogame-based series will be available to own from the 1st January, and should retail at around $28.95. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Extras will include a filmmaker commentary, four making of featurettes (Alice Vision: Preproduction, The Big Bang: Shooting Resident Evil: Extinction, Bigger, Faster, Stronger: The Undead Evolve, and Vegas Visual Effects: Miniatures), deleted scenes, and a sneak peak at Resident Evil: Degeneration, the first Resident Evil CGI feature film. A Blu-ray edition will also be available for $38.96. This will include all of the above, along with a picture in picture feature, and Blu-wizard 2.0 which lets you customize the way you watch the special features.

Are you dying to be rich?

Today, i’ve added captures to the gallery of the 1999 horror remake, House on Haunted Hill starring Ali as Sara Wolfe. The movie is about a group of people who get brought together by a millionaire who offers them $1,000,000 to spend the night in a haunted house, but really the house is alive itself. Ali plays one of the more likable characters and shares most of the screen time. I’ll add clips very soon, but for everyone that has supported the site since it started, i wish a happy new year. See you in 2008!

2007 Round Up!
Written By Rachel on Dec 28, 2007 | Filed Under: News & Media, Site

This list was compiled by the Ali Larter Daily staff AKA me. Thank you to Scarlett-Fan for this great idea!

• Best News
The best news of the year has to be Ali appearing in one biggest worldwide phenomenon, Heroes. Also that Ali starred in the big box office hit that was, Resident Evil: Extinction. Oh and finally, Ali getting engaged!

• Worst News
It has to be all them moaning fans of Heroes that have a certain grudge against Niki (Ali’s character). Also, the writers strike has been bad as it has put Ali out of work, but we’re glad she is supporting! And finally, the fact that Niki may not be returning to Heroes.

• Favorite Cover

This has to be my favorite cover of the year as i truly adored this photoshoot (see below). Ali looks amazing and the rest of the shoot is just as good. In 2007, Ali has graced 7 magazine covers! You could also count 8 for the fabulous drawing that Phil Jimenez drew of Ali for the 4 TV Guide covers for Heroes.
