Ali is said to be reprising her role as Claire Redfield in the new Resident Evil: Afterlife film! This is really great news, as we will be able to see Ali on the big screen yet again, and in another blockbuster no less. Read for more details below:

“Prison Break” hunk Wentworth Miller and “Heroes” babe Ali Larter have joined the cast of “Resident Evil: Afterlife”, the fourth film in the franchise says Blackfilm.

Cast member Boris Kodjoe told the site the news whilst doing promotion for his work in this week’s sci-fi thriller “Surrogates”. In the film, Kodjoe says “I play the leader of the survivors in Los Angeles. Milla Jovovich’s character, Alice, is roaming the world looking for survivors and she’s wound up in LA, which has been burning for three years. She comes across an LA jail surrounded be these half-dead with a couple of survivors trapped inside. She lands on top of the roof and partners up with me to fight the guys that are coming after them. We’re trying to get all of the survivors out of the jail to safety.”

Miller plays one of the trapped people whom they lock up in a cell as they aren’t sure if he’s succumbed to the virus or not. He becomes a key element of their eventual escape. Larter reprises her role of Claire Redfield from the previous film “Resident Evil: Extinction”.

Shooting kicks off this week in Toronto under the helm of returning first film director Paul W.S. Anderson.

This is the part that I love, Obsessed promotion has begun and Ali has started the interviews and more should come online daily. Ali recently talked to Tufts Daily about her role in Obsessed and how she was shooting both Heroes and Obsessed at the same time, maybe that’s why she had little screen time in Volume 3. Also, she announced that she is about to start a film with Ed Burns where she plays a “woman who goes after what she wants”. I currently do not know what film it is, but it’ll be announced shortly I imagine. You can read the exciting article in the brand new press archive, to read click here. Please comment here to tell me if you like the new look of the press archive, which I will be updating a lot more with articles I’ve missed.

Update: The Obsessed premiere will take place on April 23rd in New York City and Ali will be in attendance, also don’t forget to check out ET tonight for an exclusive behind the scenes look at the film.

The promotion for Ali’s latest movie Obsessed has got well under way. First off, you can visit a viral site called GetObsessedwithAli.com where you can fill in your friends details and Ali will become Obsessed with them. It’s really good fun! I have added to the gallery some very rare captures of Ali in her 2005 independant movie, Confess. Ali plays Olivia Averill, a communications major doing her thesis on internet hacking. The film is not a masterpiece, but both Ali and co-star Eugene Byrd play there roles phenomenonly and Ali gets to broaden her acting skills. There’s 300+ caps of Ali and they may contain spoilers. Furthermore, they are not the highest quality, but hopefully we’ll get some soon.
